LEAGUE PLAY:
3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades: 8 regular season games plus playoff
Games Begin: March 26th, 2012
Season Ends: June 8th, 2012

All fees for 3rd thru 8th grade must be paid by Monday March 19th.

A completed roster must be on file with league administrators by first game.
NO REFUNDS AFTER SCHEDULING MEETING.

COST:
$875 per team
Fee includes: $100 forfeit fee
Champions will receive team trophy.

FORFEIT:
Forfeit fee is $100. Forfeit fee will be returned at the end of the season. Please make checks payable to Brewster Sports Management. Note: We also accept major credit cards.

RULES:
Super League will be compromised of boys and girls divisions ranging from 3rd to 8th grade. Each grade level will be divided into 2 divisions with Division A being the most competitive and Division B being the least.

SPORTSMANSHIP:
Any player or coach ejected for fighting will be suspended for the next three games. Any player or coach ejected for unsportsman like conduct will be suspended for the next game. Any parent ejected from a game will not be permitted to attend their child’s next game.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
All fees for 3rd thru 8th grade must be paid by March 19th. A completed roster must be on file with league administrators by first game.

TEAM BENEFITS:

  1. MAKE YOUR OWN SCHEDULE - Games can be scheduled on any
    day of the week Monday - Friday or Saturday and Sunday morning
    and evenings 8am-10am or 8pm-10pm.
  2. Play all games at the Brewster Sports Center - 3 full court hardwood
    floors, overhead scoreboards, scorer's table. You come first at BSC -
    no hassles with local gyms, substandard facilities, local refs, and
    competing organizations/priorities.
  3. You play against a wide variety of teams from throughout the
    tri-state area.
  4. You choose your level (A or B) of competition.
    • Level A - AAU teams, top C.Y.O. and travel teams
    • Level B - Competitive C.Y.O., travel, and In-house rec. teams
  5. Top Certified referees - experienced high school, college and AAU
    officials.
  6. League administrators are present at every game and are available
    7 days a week in the event that a problem develops.
  7. Highly experienced and dedicated personnel who always attempt to
    be responsive and fairly administer the super league.
  8. You may enter the same team twice and receive double the number of
    games. We will accommodate your schedule accordingly.
  9. Schedules and game results will be posted and updated on a regular
    basis on our website: www.brewstersportscenter.com.
  10. Play in a modern facility with comfortable viewing and seating,
    including snack bar service.

 


 

SUPER LEAGUE RULES AND REGULATIONS

  1. Two 20 minute running time halves.
  2. Clock stops the last minute of each half. Note: 4 minutes for halftime.
  3. Boys’ league is governed by high school federation rules. Girls’ league is governed by N.C.A.A. women’s rules. Please note the following exceptions for all age groups and divisions.
    a) Three (3) full time-outs per game.
    b) One and one bonus on (10th) team foul per half. Double bonus on twelfth (12th) team foul per half.
    c) A player fouls out after his/her 5th foul.  
  4. Forfeit time is 10 minutes after scheduled game time.
  5. All teams need to be prepared with 2 uniform shirts (or reversible).
  6. Rosters are limited to 12 players.
  7. Overtime: Two (2) minutes overtime clock stops last minute. One additional time-out.
  8. Game warm-up is 5 minutes.
  9. NOTE: ZERO TOLERANCE FOR FIGHTING OR LEAVING THE BENCH. YOU WILL BE EJECTED FROM THE REST OF THE LEAGUE.
  10. PLEASE – no dunking during warm-ups.
  11. No protests.
  12. No Press rule
  13. No shot clock
  14. Three point shots are allowed in all age groups.
  15. Ball size:
    a) Girls’ - 28.5
    b) Boys’ – 5th - 28.5
    6th through 8th – Boys’ size
  16. COACHES – Only the head coach is allowed to stand while game is in process. Also, please have your team clean-up afterwards.
